Jeb Bush Flip Flops on Indiana’s ‘Religious Freedom’ Law

Jeb Bush Flip Flops on His Praise of Indiana LawThe New York Times is reporting this evening that Presidential hopeful and the brother of the worst President ever has had a change of heart regarding Governor Pense and his anti-gay, discriminatory law that has been under fire from many big businesses from Walmart to Apple.

Jeb Bush in a closed-door Silicon Valley fund-raiser, told a small group of potential supporters that a โ€œconsensus-orientedโ€ approach would have been better at the outset.

Bushโ€™s comments were different from what he said on Monday night where he praised Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana for doing the โ€œright thingโ€.

Mr. Bush, the former governor of Florida who has all but declared his candidacy for the presidency, told Mr. Hewitt that if people โ€œactually got briefed on the law,โ€ then they โ€œwouldnโ€™t be blastingโ€ it. The law, he said, โ€œis simply allowing people of faith space to be able to express their beliefsโ€ and โ€œto be people of conscience.โ€ He continued, โ€œI just think once the facts are established, people arenโ€™t going to see this as discriminatory at all.โ€
