US Releases New Bin Laden Love Letters and His Book Collection.
Letters written by Osama Bin Laden in his last years depict a person who composed love letters to his own wife, was overly concerned regarding the focus of al Qaeda splinter groups in Africa, and was dedicated to waging attacks on in the U.S. This is based on a dump of new documents released from the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
The authorities declassified a total of 103 records in the most recent Bin Laden-connected dump, including letters sent by the al Qaeda creator to his family as well as other leaders of the militant network. The set also contains an inventory of reports and publications Bin Laden kept in his house set in the years before his 2011 assassination performed by Navy SEALs in Pakistan.
In a letter to his wife contained in the public number of correspondences, Bin Laden expresses fondness, telling her she’s the main matter on earth to him as well as the apple of his eye. He asks for forgiveness for his shortcomings, as well as allows her to wed after he expires, although he stresses that she’s the one he needs in “paradise.”
