Iconic Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher has reportedly died at the age of 60, days after suffering a heart attack. Fisher was flying from London to Los Angeles on Friday when the initial heart attack occurred, and several passengers tweeted that doctors and nurses on board—and then eventually paramedics in an ambulance—performed CPR on her for up to 15 minutes before she responded. She was taken to a hospital, where she remained in the Intensive Care Unit over the weekend. Her family and friends gave limited information to the media about her condition, until her death was reported on Tuesday morning. Fisher is best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars movies, and she wrote a book entitled “The Princess Diarist,” which she went on tour to promote this year.
