Google Launches Knowledge Graph

Google have just launched the company’s new Knowledge Graph, a tool to help deliver more accurate information on the way in which users search.

Google bots were previously incapable of crawling particular sites that had interactive content that was loaded through JavaScript, particularly with pages that gave users additional information without actually loading an entirely new page.

The Google bots now have the ability to monitor interactive site content and; activate links and content that were previously unavailable.

The purpose of this is to provide users with a greater scope of information that was previously unattainable.

The new added functions are feature panels on the right of a user’s search results, showing more information and other suggested searches relative to the original finding.
