President Obama will do six fundraisers today — three in Minneapolis and three in Chicago.
Here are the details, from a campaign official:
Friday afternoon, President Obama will participate in three fundraisers at the Bachelor Farmer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. First, he will deliver remarks at a fundraising luncheon with 100 people, followed by two small campaign roundtables. Tickets for the luncheon cost $5,000 and tickets for the roundtables cost $40,000 and $50,000 per person.
In the evening, the President will travel to Chicago, where he will participate in three fundraising events. He will deliver remarks at a fundraising reception with 350 attendees at the Chicago Cultural Center. General admission tickets started at $2,500. The President will then attend two small fundraising dinners at private residences. Tickets for the last two events are $35,800 per person.
Proceeds from Friday’s events will go to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.
The campaign did not respond to requests for the number of attendees at the small fundraising dinners and roundtables.
