North Korea Building ‘World-Class’ Ski Resort

North Korea’s military is constructing what they expect will be a ‘world-class’ ski resort on the country’s eastern coast.

The closed-off country’s leader Kim Jong Un visited the construction site on Sunday. Kim was educated in Switzerland where apparently he was exposed to winter sports.

The resort upon completion will allegedly include a hotel, heliport and cableway. The highest point of the resort will be 1,360 meters above sea level, North Korea’s state news agency KCNA said.

Kim says “a ski wave will seize the country” when the resort is completed.
