Stevie Wonder Boycotts Florida Concerts After Zimmerman Verdict

Grammy-winning performer Stevie Wonder announced during a Sunday concert in Quebec that he will no longer perform in Florida after George Zimmerman’s acquittal on Friday.

Wonder vowed to continue his boycott until the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law in the state is repealed.

“I decided today that until the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again,” he told the audience. “As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world.”
