Relative Arrested For 1991 Murder Of ‘Baby Hope’

More than 20 years after a child’s body was discovered in a cooler near upper Manhattan, NY, police announced they finally solved the murder.

In a press conference on Saturday, New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly announced they arrested a cousin who allegedly sexually assaulted and smothered “Baby Hope.”

The girl’s body was found by construction workers in 1991 in a wooded area near New York. Police identified her this year as 4-year-old Anjelica Castillo.
