New Dramatic Aspen Fatal Plane Crash VIDEO

New surveillance video of a deadly plane crash in Aspen was released on Tuesday.
The new video was released as a preliminary report showed there were strong winds at the time the plane went down.
The video is from what Aspen-Pitkin County Airport normally uses to monitor planes on the tarmac and ramps. There are five different angles.
The plane can be seen hitting the runway and bouncing as it came in for a landing. It then bursts into flames.
Three pilots were on board the plane when it crash on Jan. 5. One died and two were injured.
“Aspen Journalism” shared the video with CBS4. It received it through an open records request.
A close-up look at the infrared cameras shows the jet engines firing just before landing on its second attempt.
A preliminary report last week by the National Transportation Safety Board said the wind gusts were up to almost 30 miles per hour. The wind can be seen by viewing the snow blowing on the ground.
