[VIDEO] Seahawks CB Richard Sherman’s postgame rant after NFC Championship Game

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman helped seal Seattle’s 23-17 NFC Championship Game victory on Sunday by deflecting a pass intended for San Francisco 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree with a Super Bowl invitation hanging in the balance.

The tipped ball was intercepted by linebacker Malcolm Smith in the end zone with 22 seconds remaining, ending the 49ers rally.

Minutes later, in a postgame interview on the field, Sherman went bonkers.

Here’s the transcript:

Fox’s Erin Andrews: “Take me through it (the interception) …”

Sherman (screaming): “Well, I’m the best corner in the game. When you try me with a sorry receiver like (Michael) Crabtree, that’s the result you are going to get. Don’t you ever talk about me.”

Andrews: “Who was talking about you?”

Sherman: “Crabtree. Don’t open your mouth about the best or I’m going to shut it for you real quick. “LOB!” (That’s the abbreviation for “Legion of Boom,” the nickname of the Seahawks’ defense.)
