Putin defends Crimean annexation in fiery speech

Russia’s President Putin has delivered a speech fiercely defending his country’s move to annex Ukraine’s Crimea region, he cited Ukraine’s 1991 declaration of independence following the break-up of the Soviet Union as a legal precedent.

Putin said Russia stressed that he doesn’t want to move into other regions of Ukraine, saying ‘we don’t want division of Ukraine’
