The Cincinnati Reds’ spring training game against the Kansas City Royals came to an abrupt end in the sixth inning Wednesday when Aroldis Chapman was struck in the head with a line drive.
The Reds flamethrower was pitching to Royals catcher Salvador Perez, who got a hold of Chapman’s 99-mph fastball and sent it back toward the mound.
