Connecticut wins NCAA men’s basketball title

University of Connecticut defeated University of Kentucky 60-54 to win the NCAA men’s basketball championship.

This is the fourth national title for the UConn program. The team is also the first seven-seed to with the national title. Senior point guard Shabazz Napier finished the game with 22 points and six assists.

Kentucky’s James Young had 20 points and seven rebounds in the title game.
