Olympic great Michael Phelps to end retirement

Olympics Day 4 - Swimming

22-time Olympic medalist Michael Phelps is ending his retirement and will compete for the first time since the 2012 London Olympics at an Arizona meet on April 24-26.

Phelps’s longtime coach Bob Bowman revealed the news Monday and said Phelps would swim three events — the 50- and 100-meter freestyles and the 100 butterfly.

“I wouldn’t say it’s a full-fledged comeback,” Bowman said.
