A checklist from the 1969 Apollo 11 moon flight sold for $68,750 at a New York City auction featuring space memorabilia, Bonhams auction house said.
The auction took in $1 million, with 80 percent of the 300 items sold. Nearly 300 people from 17 countries bid by phone, Internet or in person.
A space suit from NASA’s Mercury era fetched $43,750, and an American flag carried by Buzz Aldrin into lunar orbit brought in $47,500.
