FBI Softening Weed Policy for Recruits

The FBI known for their policy of not accepting job applicants who have smoked pot at any time in the last three years, but it appears the federal agency may be relaxing that rule. Speaking at a conference on Monday, FBI Director James Comey was told that people did not apply to the agency because of its restrictions on marijuana. In response, Comey said the people “should go ahead and apply.” Comey and the agency are dealing with recruiting issues, particularly in the arena of cyber crime, thanks to the marijuana policy. “I have to hire a great work force to compete with those cyber criminals and some of those kids want to smoke weed on the way to the interview,” Comey said.
