Google Doodle Celebrates FIFA World Cup 2014

Google, the most used search engine joins the world of football festival that begins today in Brazil and dedicated his typical doodle to the international tournament which begins on Thursday amid protests and uncertainty.

The doodle is a ball that crosses the screen until the first “o” in the word Google. After that, each letter becomes a fan celebrating the start of the World Cup Brazil 2014 and the background comes alive with the colors of the Brazilian flag icons and typical Brazilian cities: a cable car leading to the famous graphically Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, a radiant sun and beach with palm trees.

In the opening match, the home team will be measured against Croatia. It is expected that over 1,000 million people from over 200 countries will follow the opening ceremony.
