NASA postponed the launch of a rocket-powered test vehicle that’s shaped like a flying saucer for the fifth time on Wednesday due to bad weather.
The test of the Low-Density Supersonic Decelerator, or LDSD, is aimed at duplicating conditions that a spacecraft might face while landing on Mars and would launch in Hawaii. The vehicle looks like a flying saucer since that’s the shape of the actual spacecraft.
The next potential launch date is Saturday, June 14.
