Severe damage has been reported in Wessington Springs, S.D., after a tornado reportedly touched down in the area.
Witnesses reported houses ripped off their foundation and people trapped under the rubble. Gov. Dennis Daugaard’s office said there is significant damage in the town of approximately 1,000 people.
