Toronto mayor and admitted crack cocaine user, Rob Ford, plans to hit the ground running when he returns to his seat of power on June 30. Ford notified the city clerk in a letter released on Tuesday that he’ll be back at work later this month.
“Kindly be advised that I will be returning to work at City Hall on Monday, June 30th, 2014, in the later portion of the afternoon,” Ford said in the letter dated Jun. 2, according to the Toronto Star. The document, which city officials said they didn’t receive until Jun. 16, also informed the clerk to “change back the locks.”
