Ebola survivor Dr. Kent Brantly donated blood to help treat Nina Phram, the Dallas nurse who is the first person to contract the disease in the United States, a spokesperson for Samaritan’s Purse said Monday night.
A family spokesperson for Pham confirmed that she received the transfusion from Brantly. It is the third time he has donated blood to treat Ebola patients.
