A Vatican report released Monday indicates the Vatican is moving toward more tolerance regarding gays and divorce in the Catholic Church.
The report comes as Pope Francis and an assembly of 200 bishops enter the second week of their synod.
βThe Church turns respectfully to those who participate in her life in an incomplete and imperfect way, appreciating the positive values they contain rather than their limitations and shortcoming,β the bishops said in the document.
