Now Michael Weisman is the new Executive in Charge of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. Weisman, spent six years as the executive producer of NBC Sports in the late 1980s, will take over all aspects of “Morning Joe,” as the program struggles in the ratings. In January “Morning Joe” finished in fourth place in the demo behind “Fox Friends,” “New Day,” and “Morning Express.” The 3-hour program also dropped to 47th overall, on cable. Last January, it was the 28th most-watched show.
