GOP Presidential Candidate Sen. Ted Cruz Will Sign up for Obamacare

BREAKING: Ted Cruz is signing up for The Affordable Care Act or Obamacare, the law he rallies against everyday. The irony.

The recently announced presidential candidate said that he’ll join health care coverage of the Affordable Care Act, a law he’s been on a campaign to kill.

“We’ll be receiving new health insurance and we’ll presumably get it done through my job with all the Senate, and so we’ll be to the national exchange with countless others on the national exchange,” Cruz said.

“I believe we should follow the text of every law, even law I disagree with, It’s one of the real differences if you look at President Obama and the lawlessness, if he disagrees with a law he simply refuses to follow it or claims the authority to unilaterally change.”

This comes one day after the senator said he would not have use of health benefits Goldman Sachs, through his own wife’s company. Heidi, a managing director in the Houston office of the firm, is not going to have use of the benefits of the business through that point and has gone on unpaid leave for the length of the senator’s presidential campaign.

Cruz’s seemed taken by surprise by questions regarding the his health plan on CNN today.
