Chris Christie Ex-Ally Pleads Guilty In Bridgegate Scandal [VIDEO]

David Wildstein, a former ally and high-school classmate of New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, pleaded guilty Friday to charges related to the 16-month federal investigation of lane closures on the George Washington Bridge.
The former Port Authority deputy executive director, Bill Baroni, and Christie’s former deputy chief of staff, Bridget Anne Kelly, are also expected to be indicted for their roles in the closures, according to The New York Times. Wildstein reportedly implicated Baroni and Kelly.

Asked by the judge: “Did you punish the mayor … by deliberately causing traffic problems?,” Wildstein answered “yes.”
Wildstein pleaded guilty on two counts: one of fraud and one of a “conspiracy against civil rights.”
