Google has a new logo that’s sleeker, brighter, and for the first time, animated. When you visit the main Google search page, you’ll notice an interactive that shows the logo morph into its newest form. The company says the change reflects the tech giant’s shift beyond the traditional Web browser, reads a company statement.
“Once upon a time, Google was one destination that you reached from one device: a desktop PC,” reads the statement from Tamar Yehoshua, Google’s vice president of product management, and director of user experience, Bobby Nath. “These days, people interact with Google products across many different platforms, apps and devices—sometimes all in a single day.”
