A U.S. District Court judge on Thursday struck down Tom Brady’s four-game suspension by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell over Deflategate. Goodell suspended Brady in May because of “substantial and credible evidence” that the Patriots quarterback knew team employees were deflating footballs to give him an advantage over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game. Brady denied knowing about any wrongdoing, but the NFL also criticized him for disposing of his cellphone ahead of the investigation.
