BREAKING: Scott Walker has dropped out of the Presidential Race.
“Today I believe I am being called to lead by helping to clear the field so a positive, conservative message can rise to the top,” Walker said at a press conference in Madison, Wisconsin. “I encourage other Republican candidates to do the same.” He seemed to suggest that if other candidates evacuate the field, Donald Trump’s message can be beaten. Walker also made a reference to Trump’s “make America great again” slogan before leaving the presser without taking questions.
