Google CEO Backs Apple in iPhone Fight [VIDEO]

Google CEO Sundar Pichai spoke out in support of Apple’s refusal to comply with a federal court order to assist the FBI in unlocking an iPhone owned by one of the San Bernardino shooters. Pichai tweeted, β€œforcing companies to enable hacking could compromise users’ privacy” and would set a β€œtroubling precedent.” The Google chief’s comments came after former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden announced his support of Apple and called on Google to take a stand. Apple CEO Tim Cook said late Tuesday that his company rejected a court order to help investigators break into an iPhone belonging to Syed Farook, calling it technology β€œtoo dangerous to create.”
