Sanders Hints the Primary Race Is Over [VIDEO]

Bernie Sanders dropped a hint Tuesday night that he won’t have enough delegates to beat Hillary Clinton, telling a crowd he plans to head to the Democratic National Convention to continue fighting for a β€œprogressive party platform”—not the nominationβ€”in July. However, the Vermont senator said he will remain in the race β€œuntil the last vote is cast.” But Sanders added his β€œcampaign is going to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia with as many delegates as possible to fight for a progressive party platform.” The senator then outlined his calls for a higher minimum wage, trade-policy reform, breaking up Wall Street, and a Medicare-for-all health-care system. Sanders’s remarks came after Clinton won four of the five states that held primaries Tuesday.
