The Trump campaign said it paid for three women who accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct to come to the debate.
Trump spokesperson Hope Hicks said that the Trump campaign had picked up the tab for their travel. “They were our invited guests.” Broaddrick had told reporters that the right wing news outlet Breitbart had actually paid for her travel.
On Sunday three women – Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey– all appeared in a photo opp with Trump before the second presidential debate began. The women were invited to remind voters of Bill Clinton’s own sexual transgressions as Trump faced ire over leaked video showing him speaking crudely about his involvement with women, Politico reported.
