During a Thursday morning appearance on Fox & Friends, top presidential adviser Kellyanne Conway encouraged people to purchase Ivanka Trump’s clothing goods. “Go buy Ivanka’s stuff!” she told the Fox News audience while appearing from the White House briefing room. “This is just a wonderful line,” she continued. “I own some of it. I’m going to give a free commercial here. Go buy it today, everybody. You can find it online.” Conway also reiterated Trump’s claim that Nordstrom had severed its relationship with Ivanka’s brand as a political attack on the president, despite the luxury retail chain emphasizing that the decision was based purely on poor sales figures. “They are using the most prominent woman in Donald Trump’s [orbit]… using her, who has been a champion for empowerment of women in the workplace, to get to him,” Conway claimed. Neiman-Marcus and Marshall’s TJ Maxx have also dropped the Ivanka clothing line in recent days.
