The media agency linked to the Islamic State terror group issued a release Thursday claiming that the attacker who killed three people including a British police officer in Westminster was affiliated with ISIS. The group frequently claims global terror attacks even if there is no evidence of its involvement. Amaq quoted an ISIS source saying: βThe attacker yesterday in front of the British parliament in London was a soldier of the Islamic State.β
