Billy Bush: Trump Tape Wasn’t ‘Locker Room Talk’

Seven months after the release of the Access Hollywood tape that showed now-President Donald Trump bragging about being able to get away with sexually assaulting women, disgraced former Today Show co-host Billy Bush has broken his silence about the bus ride that cost him his careerโ€”and almost lost Trump the White House. โ€œI could not put two thoughts together,โ€ Bush said, adding that he โ€œdidn’t have the strength of characterโ€ to change the subject with Trump, who he called โ€œa provocateur… Shocking statements flow like wine from him. And he likes to captivate an audience.โ€ Bush denied that he and Trump have a personal relationship, or that he had bragged about the tapeโ€™s existence during NBCโ€™s coverage of the Olympics.
