The Daily Show just posted a funny goodbye video for Sean Spicer after he resigned as White House press secretary Friday.
The video compilation of viral Spicer moments from the White House podium includes the time he told reporter April Ryan to stop shaking her head, stumbles over Syrian leader Bashar Assadโs name and Spicer’s controversial comments on Adolf Hitler.
The Trump spokesman apologized after making a reference to “Holocaust centers” โ meaning concentration camps โ during a comparison of Hitler and Assad. Spicer also mistakenly said Hitler had not sunk to using chemical weapons in criticizing Assad’s use of them.
Spicer resigned Friday after President Trump hired Anthony Scaramucci as his new communications director, The New York Times reported.
Trump requested that Spicer stay on, but Spicer declined, telling the president that hiring Scaramucci was a major mistake, the Times reported.
