Trump announced the news on his Twitter account, saying that the position was to be filled by former general John Kelly, the man who is currently the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
“I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff. He is a Great American and a Great Leader. John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security. He has been a true star of my Administration,” he said on Twitter.
This comes just days after a feud between “The Mooch” and Priebus was brought out into the open, with Mooch accusing Priebus of being a “leaker”.
