Trump’s Voter Fraud Commission Holds Inaugural Meeting

Trumps Voter Fraud Commission Holds Inaugural MeetingThe Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity met for the first time Wednesday. The commission was formed by President Trump after he claimed without evidence that he lost the popular vote in the 2016 presidential election because “millions” voted illegally. Though he offered no proof of such widespread fraud Wednesday, Trump reiterated that the commission had “no choice” but to investigate the matter. Trump also questioned why so many states have so far refused to comply with commission Vice Chair Kris Kobach’s request for voter data, including addresses, birthdays, party affiliations, and voting records. “If any state doesn’t want to share this information, one has to wonder: What are they worried about?” Trump said. “There’s something. There always is.”
