The Russian lobbyist who attended a meeting with top Trump campaign aides last year has testified to a grand jury as part of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian election meddling, the Financial Times reports. The lobbyist, Rinat Akhmetshin, was part of a meeting that included Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, and Jared Kushner, in addition to a Kremlin-connected Russian lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya. The president’s son took the meeting after being informed that the Russian individuals had dirt on Hillary Clinton. “I don’t know what you’re talking about… I’m not commenting on anything,” Akhmetshin told the FT.
