A white van reportedly plowed through a crowd Thursday in Barcelona’s Las Ramblas tourist area. According to Spanish police, several people are injured and local newspaper El Pais reported that the driver fled on foot after the incident. The BBC reported that “Spanish police say several people have been injured in a ‘massive crash,’ while emergency services are urging people to stay away from the area around Plaza Catalonia.”
