Adult film star Stormy Daniels filed a lawsuit Tuesday against President Trump. She claims that the deal she made not to disclose details of a relationship with Trump is invalid because, while Daniels and Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, signed a non-disclosure agreement, Trump did not. The suit, obtained by NBC News, alleges that Daniels had an intimate relationship with Trump from 2006 “well into the year 2007.” The “hush agreement” Daniels signed, which promised $130,000 in exchange for her silence, was never signed by Trump, the suit says, and thus the Los Angeles County Superior Court should declare that it and a separate side agreement don’t exist. The suit also alleges that Cohen has been routinely trying to intimidate Daniels.
