Incidents of sexual misconduct by Charlie Rose were far more numerous than previously known and that at least three times CBS managers were warned of his conduct toward women at the network. The number of women who have accused Rose of sexual harassment now totals 35. Rose’s email response to the new allegations: “Your story is unfair and inaccurate.” The Washington Post story includes several first-hand accounts by the women accusing Rose of sexual harassment incidents. Ken Goldberg, an attorney representing these women, sent Rose and CBS a letter earlier this year containing allegations of “repeated physical and verbal sexual harassment,” and alleging that management “failed and refused to take any remedial action and that conduct continued unabated.” Goldberg said that his clients plan to file a lawsuit in the coming days.
