
The Office of White House Counsel is losing mustachioed wonder Ty Cobb to retirement and adding Emmet T. Flood, veteran lawyer who was part of President Clinton’s legal team during his impeachment hearings. Apparently, Mr. Flood was in talks to join the WH legal team as early as last summer but couldn’t stand idea of working with Marc E. Kasowitz. It’s thought that Mr. Flood will likely end up with Don McGahn’s position in the game of musical chairs that is the Office of White House Counsel.
