Fox News’ Tucker Carlson is Racist, Homophobic & Misogynistic [AUDIO]

A day after releasing audio of Tucker Carlson making numerous misogynist remarks, Media Matters for America published a new video with clips of the Fox News host using racist and homophobic language to describe Iraqi people, African Americans, gay people and immigrants while speaking on a radio program between 2006 and 2011, according to a report published Tuesday by the nonprofit.

The self-described watchdog of โ€œconservative misinformation in the U.S. mediaโ€ published the audio from Carlsonโ€™s appearances on a Tampa-based radio program, the โ€œBubba the Love Sponge Show,โ€ just 25 hours after releasing similar recordings in which heโ€™s heard flippantly using sexist language to express his views on child rape, rape shield laws, underage marriage and other sensitive topics.

The new audio highlights about a dozen instances of Carlson using racist language on the โ€œshock jockโ€ show, which he apparently called into for about an hour per week. In 2008, Carlson lamented that โ€œeveryoneโ€™s embarrassed to be a white man,โ€ before stating that white men deserve credit for โ€œcreating civilization and stuff.โ€

In another instance, Carlson is heard saying that Iraq is a โ€œcrappy place filled with a bunch of, you know, semiliterate primitive monkeys,โ€ adding, โ€œThatโ€™s why it wasnโ€™t worth invading.โ€ That follows a 2006 segment on the show in which Carlson said he had โ€œzero sympathyโ€ for Iraqi people and their culture because they โ€œdonโ€™t use toilet paper or forks.โ€

โ€œTheyโ€™re just so awful. Just awful,โ€ Carlson said.

A co-host on the show replies: โ€œTheyโ€™re animals, dude. They are.”

In what appears to be commentary on when the United States should remove troops from Iraq, Carlson says, โ€œThe second we, I mean they, can just shut the f— up and obey, is my view.โ€

โ€œThe second we leave, theyโ€™re going to be calling for us to return because they canโ€™t govern themselves,โ€ he adds.

In March 2006, Carlson spoke about his desire for a presidential candidate to blame the โ€œlunatic Muslims who are behaving like animals.โ€ That candidate would be โ€œelected kingโ€ if they vowed to โ€œkill as many of them as [they] can,โ€ Carlson added.
