Death of Francesco Cali is first targeted killing of a mob boss in city for more than 30 years. The reputed head of New York’s notorious Gambino crime family has been shot dead on Staten Island in the first targeted killing of a mob boss in the city in more than 30 years.
Francesco “Franky Boy” Cali, 53, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his body at his home in the borough’s Todt Hill section just after 9pm on Wednesday evening. Cali was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. There have been no arrests and no further information was provided by police.
And there is an interesting nexus to the Trump family. See tweet below:
The head of the Gambino crime family just died after being shot & run over. Fred Trump once owned land with a member of the same crime family. Trump built Trump Tower using concrete company owner by the same crime family. Lawsuit says Felix Sater partnered with same crime family.
