AG Barr Won’t Bring Charges Against Cop in Eric Garner’s Chokehold Death [VIDEO]

The Justice Department on Tuesday concluded its five-year investigation and will not bring civil rights or criminal charges against NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo, who was seen in the video with his arm around Garner’s neck who was killed by the officer.

For five years, the justice system has purported to deal with the case of the death of Eric Garner. Attorney General Bill Barr’s DOJ announced there would be no charges for the NYPD officer caught on tape killing the unarmed man with a ‘banned chokehold.’ Former federal prosecutor Paul Butler joins MSNBC Chief legal correspondent Ari Melber on the controversial case and the video evidence.
