Medical Professionals and the Country Hopes the FDA Approval will Lower Vaccine Hesitancy and Increase Mandatory Vaccination
The Food and Drug Administration has granted full approval to the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine. Thanks makes it the first vaccine to get the full approval and the Biden administration is hoping that the new designation will break through to the vaccine hesitant, and give the green light to institutions like stores, schools, and other businesses to mandate the vaccines, and the momentum is in doing so. Americans and businesses want to put this pandemic behind them. Nobody can afford a shut down.
Until today the vaccine had “Emergency Use Authorization” and that status was holding some back on getting the shot, and businesses and institutions on move forward with mandates.
FDA scientists said they studied thousands of pages of data compiled on the vaccine and that nothing was rushed. They talked about the huge amount of resources that was put on going through the data to achieve full approval status.
