TBS Live Stream: Watch MLB Playoffs, March Madness, AEW Dynamite Free Online

You cannot watch TBS live for free online in 2026, but any live TV streaming service that carries the channel will get you there, and the cheapest is Sling TV at $45.99 a month. Sling also sells a one-day pass for $4.99, which is the least expensive way to catch a single game like Tuesday Night Baseball or AEW Dynamite. YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV and DirecTV all carry TBS too, and Hulu (3-day) and DirecTV (5-day) still run short free trials for new subscribers.

What Is Live on TBS Right Now

TBS is a live-sports channel first and a comedy channel second, and the reason most people search for a TBS stream is one of three events. Which one is on air depends on the month.

  • MLB postseason (October): TBS carries National League playoff baseball, including the NL Division Series and NL Championship Series, plus Tuesday Night Baseball through the regular season. This is the single biggest driver of TBS searches every autumn.
  • NCAA March Madness (March into early April): TBS splits all 67 tournament games with CBS, TNT and truTV. The 2026 Final Four lands on April 4 with the National Championship on April 6, and TBS is in the rotation for both semifinals and the title game depending on the bracket year.
  • AEW Dynamite (every Wednesday): live professional wrestling runs from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on TBS, week in and week out, which is why the channel has steady midweek demand outside of the seasonal sports.

One correction worth making, because a lot of older guides still get it wrong: the NBA is no longer on TBS. Warner Bros. Discovery lost its NBA rights after the 2024-25 season, so from the 2025-26 season onward you will not find NBA games on TBS or TNT. If basketball is what you are after, March Madness is the college game that remains, and the pro game has moved elsewhere.

The Cheapest Way to Stream TBS Live

The cheapest legitimate way to stream TBS is Sling TV. A full month of Sling Orange or Sling Blue is $45.99, and TBS is included in both, so you do not need the pricier Orange + Blue bundle just to get the channel. That is the lowest ongoing price of any service carrying TBS in 2026.

If you only want to watch one game, Sling is cheaper still. Per Sling’s own day-pass page, a one-day pass is $4.99 and a three-day pass is $9.99, both carrying the same sports channels as the Orange plan (TBS, TNT, truTV and ESPN). For a single NL playoff game or one Wednesday of AEW, a $4.99 pass beats signing up for a full month you will cancel anyway.

There is one more streaming route worth knowing. The Bleacher Report Sports tier on Max simulcasts a large share of the live sports that air on TBS, including MLB postseason games and March Madness during the tournament. It is not a 24/7 TBS channel and it will not show you the comedy reruns, but if you already pay for Max, the add-on covers most of the live events that send people looking for TBS in the first place.

What about truly free? There is no permanent free TBS live stream. The one honest exception is March Madness: during the tournament you can stream TBS tournament games through NCAA March Madness Live or the official TBS watch page, but both ask you to sign in with a TV-provider or streaming login first. Any site promising a free 24/7 TBS feed with no login is a pirate stream, and those are the players this page used to host before we replaced them with the legal routes above.

Live TV Bundles That Carry TBS

If you want TBS inside a full channel lineup rather than a bare-bones sports package, three mainstream live TV services carry it. Prices below are the 2026 base rates each service lists.

ServicePrice (2026)Free trialBest for
Sling Orange or Blue$45.99/moNone (day pass $4.99)Cheapest ongoing TBS access
YouTube TV$82.99/moNone in 2026Local channels plus a deep sports library
Hulu + Live TV$88.99/mo3 daysHouseholds that also want Disney+ and ESPN
DirecTV (MySports)$69.99/mo5 daysFans who want TBS grouped with TNT and truTV

YouTube TV is the mainstream pick. Its base plan is $82.99 a month, includes TBS alongside your local broadcast channels, and comes with unlimited DVR, which matters if you want to record a full playoff series. There is no standing free trial in 2026, so you pay from day one.

Hulu + Live TV runs $88.99 a month and bundles Disney+ and ESPN with its live channels, TBS among them. Its three-day free trial is a genuinely cheap way to cover a single big weekend, such as a March Madness round or an NL Championship Series game, if you remember to cancel before the trial ends.

DirecTV’s MySports genre pack is $69.99 a month and groups TBS with TNT and truTV, which is the exact trio that carries March Madness. Its five-day free trial is the longest on offer, so for the opening rounds of the tournament it can effectively cover the busiest stretch at no cost. If you also want a deeper walkthrough of the sister channel that shares that MySports pack, our TNT live stream guide covers the same carriage from the TNT side.

One service to cross off your list: Fubo does not carry TBS. Fubo dropped the Turner networks in a 2020 carriage dispute and still had not restored them as of July 2026, so do not subscribe to Fubo expecting playoff baseball, March Madness or AEW. If a guide tells you Fubo has TBS, it is out of date.

Watching TBS on a TV, Phone or Browser

Once you have picked a service, getting TBS on screen takes about two minutes and works the same way across devices. On a Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV or a smart TV from Samsung, LG or Vizio, install the app for the service you chose (Sling, YouTube TV, Hulu or DirecTV), sign in, open the live guide and scroll to TBS. You do not install a separate “TBS app” for this; the channel lives inside your streaming service’s guide.

On a phone or a laptop the routine is the same. Use your service’s iPhone or Android app, or watch in a browser on the service’s website, and TBS appears in the channel list. If you would rather use the network’s own app, the TBS site and app let you sign in with your TV-provider or streaming credentials and stream the live channel directly, which is handy for a second screen while the main TV is busy.

TBS Beyond Sports: Comedy and Movies

When there is no live game on, TBS runs comedy and movies. The daytime and late-night schedule leans on sitcom blocks (Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon and American Dad among the regulars) plus movie marathons drawn from the Warner Bros. library. The channel’s best-known tradition is its 24-hour “A Christmas Story” marathon each Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. None of this needs a special setup: the same subscription that gets you the live sports gets you everything else on the channel.

TBS Live Stream FAQ

How can I watch TBS live without cable?

Subscribe to a live TV streaming service that carries the channel: Sling TV ($45.99/mo), YouTube TV ($82.99/mo), Hulu + Live TV ($88.99/mo) or DirecTV ($69.99/mo MySports). Install that service’s app or open its website, sign in, and select TBS from the live channel guide. Sling is the cheapest of the four.

Can I watch TBS for free?

There is no permanent free TBS live stream. You can watch free for a short window using Hulu’s 3-day or DirecTV’s 5-day trial, and during March Madness you can stream TBS tournament games through NCAA March Madness Live or TBS.com once you sign in with a TV-provider or streaming login.

What is the cheapest way to watch TBS?

Sling TV at $45.99 a month is the cheapest ongoing option, and TBS is included in both the Orange and Blue plans. For a single game, Sling’s one-day pass at $4.99 is cheaper than any monthly subscription.

Does Fubo have TBS?

No. Fubo dropped TBS and the other Turner networks in a 2020 carriage dispute and had not brought them back as of July 2026. To stream TBS, use Sling, YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV or DirecTV instead.

How do I stream MLB and March Madness on TBS?

Any of the four services above carries TBS live, so NL playoff baseball and TBS’s share of March Madness games play on the channel in your guide. During the NCAA tournament those TBS games also simulcast on Max’s Bleacher Report Sports tier and on NCAA March Madness Live.

Does YouTube TV have TBS?

Yes. TBS is part of YouTube TV’s base plan at $82.99 a month, alongside your local channels and unlimited DVR. There is no free trial on YouTube TV in 2026, so billing starts immediately.
