Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has now fled the country and the Taliban edges closer Kabul ready to take full control of the country. The US is pulling all personnel from its embassy in Kabul over the next 3 days. Now Taliban fighters are controlling most of the country and are entering the capital, Kabul. The Taliban has also seized control of Afghanistanβs Bagram airbase
and the Bagram prison that holds around 5,000 convicts.
